Naoshima (Art) Island is a must visit side trip in Japan. An entire island filled with many art galleries/ art museums. It is where art, architecture and nature collide. The island is filled with so many small and large galleries and art museums. My two biggest tips book all your galleries way in advance, they book out way ahead of time, next rent an (electric) bicycle to get around the island with ease.
